Volunteer receptionists may do any or all of the following: greet those coming in the door seeking assistance, help with the food pantry, answer phones, take messages, communicate client needs with staff, enter data into our computer system, assess the agency can help, make referrals, and more.
Our 700 Jefferson Street Burlington location is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 4:30pm. Receptionists are helpful during these time frames. We would prefer recurring volunteers and we can be flexible with days, times, availability, and scheduling to enable you to give of your time in a way that works for you.
