About

Volunteers are helpful to work alongside our staff at our food pantry at 700 Jefferson Burlington. Volunteers may stock the shelves, pack bags of food for clients, unload food deliveries/donations, sort and count donations, help clients with special food/hygiene requests, or carrying items to their vehicle.

Volunteers may give of their time in increments that work for them. Short term, long term, daily, weekly, monthly, or just one time.

Additional assistance is needed on our food truck delivery days which are the first and third Wednesdays of the month, usually between 10am and noon. Depending on the number of people (from one to 10) it may take a few hours to unload, unpack and put on the pantry shelves. Many hands make light work...and makes work more fun.
