There are 5 lessons, each about 45 minutes long. The lessons are usually scheduled once a week for 5 weeks. JA provides all volunteers with a quick online training and all materials needed to teach the lessons.
Why volunteer with JA?
Junior Achievement inspires and prepares young people for a successful future. Our kindergarten through high school learning experiences teach students about financial decision making, career readiness and foster an entrepreneurial mindset.
This is done by community volunteers who not only deliver our lessons, but share their experience. By being a JA volunteer and sharing your personal and professional experiences and skills with students from your community, you help them make the connection between what they are learning in school and what they will need to succeed in work and life.
